NBCUniversal, is a global award winning media and entertainment company that is a subsidiary of Comcast Corporation. Headquartered in New York City, the conglomerate boasts a diverse portfolio of television networks, film studios, theme parks, and a competitive digital presence.

NBCU's television networks cover a broad spectrum of programming, ranging from news and sports to scripted and unscripted content.

Their film studios produce and distribute a diverse range of films from animations with Illumination, big budget blockbusters with Universal Pictures to independent and foreign films with Focus Features and so on.

Additionally, the company owns and operates Universal Studios theme parks, providing immersive entertainment experiences for audiences.

MY ROLE
I was a part of the design team for the marketing department of NBCU News Group. I provided design and art direction of print, broadcast and digital marketing materials for the following brands: NBCNews, NBCNews Now, TODAY Show, Nightly News, MSNBC and Dateline. I built out the design systems from branding packages from shows and major broadcast events (Breaking news, Olympics, NFL Super Bowl, Presidential Elections, Golden Globes, the Emmy’s etc.) and applied it to cross platform marketing assets such as full screens, lower thirds, print ads, billboards across major U.S. cities, environmental design for events, as well as internal display ads in and around NBCUniversal Comcast headquarters and studios and much more.

The internal marketing assets (that promoted our talent, shows and events across Rockefeller Center) included cross-promotion marketing assets (collaborations with other brands within Comcast NBCUniversal’s vast portfolio to leverage their reach of 226 million adults monthly in America), and co-branded assets for partnership events such as Buzzfeed’s Tasty X TODAY Show, and Citi Concerts Series on TODAY just to name a few.

NBCNews MSNBC at VidCon 2017

VidCon is the world's largest conference event for online video content, organized by ViacomCBS annually in Southern California. It involves creators, executives, & brands showcasing panel discussions, Q&As, workshops, performances and more.

Developed bright color gradients from each network’s brand color to overlay the studio/content shots. The signage is displayed outside and indoor to represent NBCNews and MSNBC at the conference.

NBCNews at SXSW® digital ads and assets

South by Southwest® is an annual event that features film screenings, exhibitions, interactive media, music festivals and conferences organized in Austin, Texas.

Developed a colorful duotone direction with the Austin cityscape to promote Noah Oppenheim’s (the President of NBCNews) Featured Session panel at the 2019 South by Southwest® Conference & Festival. Created a simplistic lockup with the network logo and festival logo.
